Dive Safaris is a PADI Resort Facility located on the Dutch Side of St. Maarten at Palapa Marina in Simpson Bay. The company offers dive trips exploring caves and wrecks, shark dives, wall dives and night dives, and PADI certification for those new to the sport. Snorkel gear is also available for rent.

Scuba Fun has two locations on the island, Anse Marcel and Divi Little Bay. The company specializes in scuba diving and offers 40 different dive sites to explore around the island. For those who don't enjoy the deep, Scuba Fun offers two-hour snorkeling trips to Creole Rock and Pinel Island.

Enjoy a day trip to Anguilla, Saba or St. Barth on a private boat. You can choose from a 40ft sailing catamaran with crew, open bar, and snorkel gear for up to 10 people, or the 50ft Princess luxury powerboat with full crew, bar, fuel and snorkel gear. Alternatively, they have a selection of offshore powerboats and a variety of small powerboats that rent without skipper for the day.

Pinel Island
Pinel Island is a small island located just across the water from Orient Bay Beach. This is a great spot for St. Martin vacationers to explore for the day. The island offers a white sand beach, swimming and snorkeling, and casual restaurants for dining. Kontiki Watersports at Orient Bay can take you via water taxi to Pinel Island, just a few minutes away. Or, drive north to Cul-de-Sac to catch a ferry ride from here.

Anguilla- Day Trip by Ferry
Blowing Point

Guests staying on St. Martin might enjoy a day trip to the neighboring Anguilla, a small island known for its gorgeous beaches and casual lifestyle. The Ferry Terminal is located at Blowing Point, about a 20-minute boat ride from Marigot, St. Martin. Please note that when arriving on Anguilla by air or ferry, The Anguilla Immigration Dept. requires U.S. citizens carry a current U.S. passport and a return ticket.

Fishing

Enjoy a day or half day deep-sea fishing with Marine Time. Magnificent blue marlin, sailfish, Mahi-Mahi, Yellowfin, Wahoo, Kingfish, Barracuda, and Bonita can all be found in the blue Caribbean waters.

Sport Fishing Tournaments
The waters off of St. Martin offer a variety of gamefish including marlin, tuna, dolphinfish, barracuda, and kingfish. The Marlin Cup occurs in the month of May and the Saint-Martin Billfish Tournament takes place here every year in the month of June. Boats can be chartered at reasonable rates all year long, although some of the fish are only in season in these waters from December through March. Charters typically include bait, tackle, and some form of refreshment.

Rudy has over 17 years of experience in St. Maarten waters, so whether you're a novice or an accomplished angler they can tailor a trip to suit your needs. Maximum of 5 people. Beer, soda and water included for all trips. On full day trips sandwiches are served.
